While in a small group talking about our fmp ideas, and giving feedback to each other was told that i had a good ideas but should consider looking at combing different cultures for each section of my environment as having bridges connected to different cultures would be a strong part of my fmp.
After gathering the feedback and having a closer look at my fmp i decided that the feedback I got back was good and the new direction would make my fmp better and give me the chance to explore news skills that i never knew i had and develop my knowledge more.
Boat Designs Continued
Boats designs continued on double page trying different variations and styles. Trying to keep the traditional format and layout but stamping my own design on to it making it unique but did not really accomplish that well as they just looked like traditional boats that you would see in games so needed to work on them more or make a decision if it will work for me to include any boats.
Environment Name Ideas and Boat design
Continuing my development of my environment I started to think about names for my fmp, working with the word water, I wanted to call my project water city as it was based on water but did not want to just say water city as it was no so imaginative so I began looking at other meaning for water in different languages to see what names I could find.
On the left is the beginning of my boat designs for travelling around the environment looking through the different environments combined together.
Searching names in different languages gave me a insight to how other countries say water which I did not know before and had some really interesting words that would work well with my fmp.

Environment Development (Layout Final)
Each section had a abstract look to them which made the environment look like something i had not really seen done before in games and created a nice layout for my environment which i could easily move around to create different layouts if I ever needed to.
Environment Development (Layout Design)
From my initial designs from my environment narratives I developed my designs future in more detail showing where each buildings would be placed and how they will be connected to each other to give a idea of how the environment would work and look. Kept them compact and close as traveling was a big factor of my environment at this point and wanted it to be easy to travel around which i think i have accomplished and will work well.
FMP Research
Also looked at a few games environments looking at how the games industry creates there environments and how they lay them out for the best play through possible and the use colors to show different tones and feelings in certain parts of the environment such u have some really dark area but then next to it there are some bright areas from lights or fires reflecting of walls and buildings.

Another research page looking at more architecture styles and images of buildings I took while on a London trip in my first year of HND visual communication looking at the size difference between the buildings and the height difference from me standing looking up at the building to get the feel of the atmosphere and scale.
On the right page at the bottom left corner of the page i took a photograph of the 3D model of the area i was in which gave me idea of possibly printing out certain part of my environment out in 3D so that visitors at my end of year show can look at.
Again shows the scale of the environment and lighting and helping me develop my designs for my environment.

Research Page looking at traditional architecture from different parts of the world, giving me a chance to look and the style of architecture used in the past and the amount of detail taken to creating these iconic buildings. Also gives me the knowledge of how my environment should look and feel and the amount of detail I should be considering for my environment.
Looking at these images gave a the sense of scale and lighting as well and ancient architecture, it should be the difference between the scales of mountains trees and buildings helping me to make sure that my environment is in portion and realistic.

Environment Narrative Development
To make sure that my audience understands my environment I began working on a narrative for my environments as I had decided on crating water environments as it offered the chance to create something unique for my environment.
Coming up with a environment was to make sure that the audience understands what the environment I have created is for and the story behind, at this moment my environment was based on game type and movie type story lines where there has been a explosion and there are a few survivors that come across what looks like a abandoned town both had similar plots but with little tweaks.
